What gets me excited about experimental typography is the fact that almost anyone can relate to it. Although languages are not, words themselves are universal. We can all interpret them and appreciate when they are presented to us in a creative manner. This April 24th, over 32,000 art professionals and collectors from around the world will arrive in Belgium for the 27th edition of artbrussels. This highly anticipated event, which ranks among the top European contemporary art fairs, showcases 165 galleries that have been nominated through a rigorous, quality-based selection process. This year, international galleries on the roster include Buchmann Galerie (Germany), Galeria Senda (Spain), and Simon Lee Gallery (Britain). If you are going to be in the area, I definitely recommend a visit.
