Today was a sad day for music and entertainment fans around the world. This April will mark the inaugural Month of Photography in Los Angeles, California (MOPLA). The highly anticipated event was established to inspire and connect photography enthusiasts, professionals, and collectors.
MOPLA will showcase the works of emerging photographers and legendary masters through special programming in partnership with Los Angeles-based galleries, museums, and corporations. Some major venues include Pacific Design Center, KODAK, Helms Street Studio, and the Annenberg Space for Photography.
Organized by the founders of The Focus on Aids Photography Auction, The Lucie Foundation and the Lucie Awards, MOPLA proceeds are slated for several well-deserving causes.
